|The Adult Basic Skills program will provide opportunities for you to improve your reading, writing and math skills. These services are free to all New Jersey residents.
If English isn't your first language, there are ESL classes available. Our teachers will help you learn how to read, write and understand English so you can:
* fill out a job application
* find a job
* get a GED
* learn computer skills
* learn how to become a U.S. citizen
* learn about U.S. history and government
|There are a number of websites for instructors and students to use in and out of the classroom. These resources are free and can be accessed from any computer with Internet access. Students can access online resources and practice tests to help increase their basic literacy skills and work toward getting their GED. Teachers will find instructional strategies and a bank of lesson plans.
