Workforce Readiness and Literacy

The Workforce Readiness and Literacy Unit, established in November 2004, is dedicated to providing New Jersey residents an opportunity to enhance their skills through adult literacy to become better equipped for future employment.

Our goal is to give the people of New Jersey an opportunity to improve their skills through our adult education and literacy programs.  We have the power to help build the skills they need to carry out their roles as workers, parents and community leaders.

The courses listed below offer adults training in areas that will improve their basic skills.  By increasing a person’s knowledge and skills will help them become more marketable to employers; AND make it easier to find a job.
