OSCAR-Calcs is a PC-based software package which addresses the most common date and arithmetic functions that arise during the course of a workers’ compensation case. |
Since its initial release in December, 2007, a number of comments and suggestions have been received from Judges of Compensation as well as members of the workers’ compensation bar.
The 9/2/2008 version of this software corrected errors in calculating partial disability awards for 91 through 96 weeks only, where only weeks 91 through 96, as the case may be, were calculated at the 21% SAWW with the first 90 weeks calculated at 20% SAWW. The software now calculates all such weeks at the 21% SAWW per N.J.S.A. 34:15-12(c). No other calculations were or are affected.
The 10/20/2008 version has been updated with the 2009 minimum and maximum rates.
The 4/27/2009 version includes the 2009 minimum and maximum rates as well as a fix for a problem calculating balance amounts in commutations.
The 10/1/2009 version has updated the 2010 maximum and minimum rates and corrected an issue with Abdullah Credits involving the ARMS.
