Registration

Public Works Contractor Registration

All contractors and subcontractors who bid on or engage in the performance of any construction-related public works project must register with the Department.
Apparel Industry Registration

All manufacturers, contractors and subcontractors engaged in the making, cutting, sewing, finishing, assembling, pressing or otherwise producing of apparel, designed or intended to be worn by any individual and sold or offered for sale for that purpose must register with the Department.
Agricultural Crew Leader Registration

Any person who transports, recruits, supplies or hires farm or food processing labor and who directs all or any part of the work of such workers must register with the Department.


Permits

Request for Permission to Maintain Payroll Records Outside of New Jersey

This application is to request to maintain time and payroll records in a location outside of the State of New Jersey.
Request to Pay Less than Minimum Wage to a Disabled Person

This is a permit authorizing the payment of a special minimum wage rate for "special disabled workers". This permit is granted at the request of the employer, with the approval of the employee and must be renewed annually.
Industrial Homework

These permits allow employers to use industrial home workers to manufacture articles in the home for the employer.
Homework License
This permit allows self-employed individuals to manufacture items in their home. The type of work performed in the home must be described and the room where the manufacturing of the article will be performed must be indicated. This license is free of charge but must be renewed each year.
Sheltered Workshop
This permit allows non-profit organizations to employ individuals with disabilities for less than minimum wage for such period of time fixed and stated in the authorization.
