If you move out-of-state while you are claiming New Jersey unemployment benefits, you should immediately telephone 1-888-795-6672 to report the address change. Unemployment checks will not be forwarded.
If you worked in New Jersey and have relocated to another State before filing an unemployment claim, you must still file the claim against New Jersey. You may file your claim on the Internet at www.njuifile.net or by calling the New Jersey call center that handles out-of-state claimants at 1-888-795-6672.
