Federal legislation is being considered in Congress to reinstate the federal EUC program for a minimum of three months retroactive to December 29, 2013. December 20, 2013 -- The last week to claim Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) benefits is the week ending December 28, 2013 unless the program is extended or augmented by the federal government. All potentially eligible individuals will be notified if extended unemployment benefits become available in the future.
