Notice of Grant Opportunity - Pilot and Demonstration Grants

The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD), seeks proposals for pilot and demonstration programs that targets displaced homemakers and single parents. LWD intends to make one or more award at no more than $1,000,000 to the successful applicant(s). Proposals must indicate the applicant’s unique ability to provide the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development with a comprehensive program for the delivery of workforce development and related support services to the targeted population. The recipient of the award must also be able and willing to train other interested organizations in how to develop and deliver such services.

The Department of Labor and Workforce Development is interested in efforts that focus on a strategy that supports the sectors of the economy that are vital to the economy of New Jersey. Any submission targeting employment and occupational skills should indicate how such an application is consistent with this goal, provide the documentation to substantiate the claim and indicate any resources that they shall be including in such an effort.

The associated solicitation establishes timeframes and requirements for proposals.
