May-17-11 Celebrating the Centennial of the New Jersey Division of Workers’ Compensation

The 100th Anniversary of the New Jersey Division of Workers’ Compensation was celebrated at a gala event on May 17 at the Forsgate Country Club in Middlesex County. Commissioner Harold J. Wirths of the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (left) and Chief Judge Peter Calderone (right), greeted performer and comedian Joe Piscopo, who entertained a crowd of more than 400 guests.
Mr. Piscopo performed without compensation in honor of his father, who was a workers’ compensation judge. He received a standing ovation.
