Economic Indicators

Each year the Economic Indicators data series are revised using new benchmark and seasonal adjustment factors. For that reason, it would be incorrect to generate an historic time series for Economic Indicators data by taking old files of the Economic Indicators and tying the series together.

For more information on these files, contact JoAnne Caramelo at 609.292.2582.

Economic Indicator Series
Economic Indicators Series 1 - 24 including graphs: 1976 - Present:

Please Note: Economic Indicators, a monthly publication of the Division of Labor Market and Demographic Research, is no longer being produced. The economic indicators data including tables and graphs found in the Economic Indicators publication will still be available on a monthly basis. Current subscribers to Economic Indicators will receive an email notification when the data is released each month.

The Division is in the process of developing a new report series designed to keep readers up to date on the pulse of New Jersey’s labor market. This new product will be published periodically and cover a wide range of economic topics. Look for more information in the coming weeks.
