The data for urban population and housing units are separated into those Inside Urbanized Areas and Inside Urbanized Clusters.

Total Resident Population New Jersey, Counties and Municipalities: 1980, 1990 and 2000 (338 K) - Resident population for New Jersey, 21 counties and 566 municipalities based on the 1980, 1990 and 2000 Censuses. Changes from 1980 to 1990 and from 1990 to 2000 (number  and percent changes) are also included.

Population by Race and Hispanic or Latino Origin New Jersey, Counties and Selected Municipalities: 1980, 1990 and 2000 (422 K) - Resident population by Hispanic or Latino origin and race (white, black, or African American, American Indian and Alaskan Native, Asian, Native Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander, some other race, and non-Hispanic white) for New Jersey, 21 counties and (60) municipalities  with 35,000 residents or more based on the 1980, 1990 and 2000 Censuses. The 2000 Census counts of multiracial persons, and changes between 1990 and 2000 (number and percent changes for individual race alone or in combination) are also included.

Changes between 1990 and 2000 (number and percent) are also included.
