Family Leave Insurance

Under the Family Leave Insurance provision of the New Jersey Temporary Disability Benefits Law, cash benefits may be payable for up to six (6) weeks to bond with a newborn or newly adopted child or to provide care for a seriously ill family member.

Program Information
The New Jersey Temporary Disability Benefits law provides up to six (6) weeks of Family Leave Insurance benefits to covered individuals to bond with newborn or newly adopted children and to care for sick family members.  More


Information for Employers
If you are an employer covered under the New Jersey Unemployment Compensation Law your employees are covered for Family Leave Insurance. More

If you have filed a claim for State Plan Temporary Disability or Family Leave Insurance you will be able to see and print some basic claim information for any claim you filed in the past 1,000 days or, if you have been notified of your claim identification number you can file your Family Leave Insurance Transitional Bonding Claim.... More
