| Customized Training Grants |
ANNOUNCEMENT Due to unprecedented demand and the volume of applications funded to date, effective immediately NJLWD is suspending all new funding for the Customized Training Program until additional funding becomes available. In accordance with the Competitive Notice of Grant Opportunity (NGO) for Customized Training Grants, "All awards are made subject to the availability of funds."
Literacy Training Grant applications will continue to be accepted until funds allocated for this state fiscal year have been expended.
NJLWD looks forward to assisting our business partners in the near future and hopes that this will not deter you from training your employees. WEATHERIZATION TRAINING PROGRAM
The Weatherization Training Program will work to provide a pipeline of entry-level workers for the new jobs that will be created through energy-efficiency projects now being readied for implementation by the DCA and the Community Action Programs throughout the state. The program will provide crucial training to traditionally under-served urban men, women, and youth. More
NJPLACE
As a current or former apprentice in a participating NJ building and construction trades union, you may be eligible to apply apprenticeship training towards a college degree. To qualify, you must currently be enrolled in, or have recently completed apprenticeship training in one of the participating NJ building and construction trades unions. More |
