Please note the new worker FLI and DI rates for the 1st and 2nd quarters of 2012.
For calendar year 2012, the maximum unemployment insurance, temporary disability insurance and workers' compensation benefit rates, the alternative earnings and base week amounts, and the taxable wage base are listed below.
- 2012 Maximum Workers' Compensation weekly benefit rate: $810
- 2012 Maximum Unemployment Insurance weekly benefits rate: $611
- 2012 Maximum Temporary Disability Insurance weekly benefit rate: $572
- 2012 Alternative earnings test amount for UI and TDI : $7,300
- 2012 Base week amount: $145
- 2012 Taxable Wage Base under UI, TDI and FLI: $30,300
In accordance with N.J.A.C. 12:16-4.8, the following are the calculated dollar equivalents for board and room, meals and lodging furnished by employers in lieu of money wages paid for services rendered by employees during the calendar year 2012:
Full board and room, weekly $203.90Lodging, per week $87.40Meals, per day $23.30
If less than three meals per day, individual meals shall be valued as follows:
Breakfast $7.00Lunch $7.00Dinner $9.30
These amounts are used when the employer does not assign a value to such payments.
