New Jersey New Employer
If you employ one or more persons and have paid remuneration in excess of $1,000.00 in covered New Jersey employment during a calendar year, you must register your business with the Division of Revenue.
After you have paid $1,000.00 in wages you must submit a NJ-REG form to the Division of Revenue. This information will be forwarded to the Department of Labor and Workforce Development which will make a timely and accurate determination of liability.
